The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is the US government’s development finance institution. DFC partners with the private sector to finance solutions to the most critical challenges facing the developing world. DFC is a member of the Education Finance Network Steering Committee.

VestedWorld is an African-founded-and-led venture capital fund investing in early-stage companies in East and West Africa. Their portfolio included scalable, real sector businesses (i.e., consumer products and services, agribusiness and food, and trade enablement), including education-focused ventures.

VVOB is an international non-profit organization that collaborates with governments and other partners around professional development of teachers and effective school leadership across the world.

WAAW Foundation (Working to Advance STEM Education for African Women) is a non-profit promoting increased participation of African girls in computing, science, technology, engineering, and math (C-STEM) related disciplines.

Waiser provides ISA financing for post-secondary and vocational education to talented but underserved youth in Asia.

Worldreader is an international non-profit organization working to improve the reading outcomes in children aged 3-12. Yayasan Literasi Anak Indonesia (YLAI) is a non-profit organization that aims to develop a reading culture and love of reading for primary school-aged children in Indonesia. They work closely with education departments to develop literacy programs in schools and innovative teaching practice in the classroom.

Yellowwoods is a private investment group based in South Africa, whose purpose is to grow businesses and catalyse inclusive markets that provide opportunities for economically marginalized populations, primarily young people in Southern Africa.

The Zenex Foundation is an independent education grant-maker whose mission is to improve teaching and learning outcomes in language and mathematics in South Africa, through flexible funding, evidence-based interventions, and strategic partnerships.

Zizi Afrique Foundation is an NGO committed to improving learning outcomes for children and youth furthest behind, mainly in East Africa. They conduct studies and assessments of learning to generate evidence to address the learning crisis as well as anticipate the future.
