How can technology facilitate parent and caregiver engamenent in children’s learning?

The proliferation of digital education technology (EdTech) in recent years, spurred on by the COVID-19 pandemic, has not only dramatically increased access to teaching and learning resources, but also provided new ways for parents to engage in their children’s learning.

This paper, jointly authored by Worldreader and the Education Finance Network, explores the opportunities and challenges in enhancing parent and caregiver engagement through the use of EdTech, and presents lessons learned from EdTech interventions aimed at increasing reading among children in low- and middle-income countries across the world.
